About SEMLA

Education that goes beyond Japanese language.

SEMLA Japanese Language Training Institute is a training institution dedicated to developing the language skills, knowledge, practical abilities, and attitudes required by Nepalese students preparing to study or work in Japan.

We believe that preparation for Japan should go beyond Japanese language. Students should also understand Japanese society, workplace culture, rules, manners, daily life, traffic safety, rights, and responsibilities before departure.

We incorporate practical experience from members who have studied and worked in Japan to help students prepare for real-life situations in Japan.

Our mission

Preparing Capable and Responsible Individuals for Japan

Our goal is to develop individuals who can successfully study, work, communicate and live in Japan with language ability, cultural understanding, discipline, practical knowledge and confidence.

Many team members have experience studying, working and living in Japan. Passing this practical knowledge to the next generation is one of SEMLA's core responsibilities.

“Not More. Better.”

Our philosophy is simple:

Rather than sending more students to Japan, we aim to send students who are properly prepared for Japan.

We do not want students to focus only on obtaining a visa.

We aim to develop individuals with:

Language + Knowledge + Skills + Discipline + Responsibility + Respect for Japanese Culture

Our commitment

Preparing Students Not Only to Reach Japan,
but to Succeed There
